As for assembly it is quite easy. The tube simply sits on the base and a screw is installed into a predrilled hole. When you sit the tube down on the base I had to wiggle it a bit to find the hole but it was pretty easy to do.
It also has a hole to attach it to a flat surface if I wanted to. I just carry it in and out as needed.
Easy to dump too. Take the screw out of cap and dump it out. Pretty easy and it cleans easy too. Soap and water.
The design keeps ashes in and water out. This is a professional way to handle nasty cigarette butts.
