(More customer reviews)This is a nicely made covered wastebasket...and it is not sold in bulk, which does make it more affordable than similiarly made wastebaskets. It does the job in keeping our pets out of the trash...it is really nice to know that our trash will now stay where we originally put it! However, the spring-top latch is not as high a quality as I would have hoped...it is just a plastic piece that is barely attached to the can. It did not even work properly at first, until it had been repeatedly pushed enough times. I am uncertain as to how long this 'button' will actually work before it eventually breaks off. I actually prefer the Sterilite wastebaskets' push-button system, which is much more sturdily constructed. However, those wastebaskets only seem to come in sets of 4...which ends up costing you approx. forty dollars in total. I did not need four (nor did I want to spend that much money for 1 wastebasket and 3 spares), so this Rubbermaid wastebasket then became my preferred choice! This wastebasket fits in our bathroom quite nicely, which is also a plus!
