And it's easier to just toss bottles, cans, plates, whatever, into an open can instead of trying to open a trashbag as it lays on the ground. When open it holds a 30 gallon trash bag, but collapses flat for easy portability....especially since the SUV is full of chairs, a tent, a grill, and coolers.
