(More customer reviews)We purchased this to supply water to our garden and trees. The only thing that i didnt like was the outlet is a 1" barb connector. Not a real handy connector for garden hose! I was in a hurry to use this and made do with fittings from the garage, so everything went ok. i used a garden hose fitting and a nipple to connect a 4" long piece of suction hose that was cut from the one that is supplied. hose clamped everything tight and it did the job. I dropped the suction hose in the pond. primed it about 4 pumps, choked it and it fired within 3 pulls. I filled the pump primer once and pushed the suction hose in further to fill up the hose quicker. It took less than a minute for it to prime up. I've got 300 feet of 5/8" garden hose hooked to the outlet and it supplies good pressure. i can spray 20-25ft away with my spray nozzle. Excellent pressure with so much garden hose!
