(More customer reviews)We have no garbage disposal and the garbage schedule is so strange - regular trash can only be put out twice a week in the green bins but biowaste can be put out any day in the brown bin. So our biodegradable waste requires its own little covered trashcan and the city recently started requiring biodegradable bags. I bought these BioBags and they work great. Small enough to fit the little trashcan, large enough to really fill it up and tie it securely. The only issue I've discovered is that wet biowaste will leak liquid through the bag into the bottom of the can. Not a big deal since the inside of my trashcan is removable and easily washable. Not sure if the leaking is due to the way they seal the bottom or if the bag is actually porous.

Recently rated #1 by Whole Home Journal! We think that using biodegradable bags to dispose of waste makes good sense because plastic bags litter our streets, backwoods and waterways. Studies indicate that over 100,000 marine animals and 2 million birds die each year from ingesting or being caught up in plastic debris. BioBags use no polyethylene in the production process and are fully certified by the Biodegradable Products Institute to be 100% biodegradable and 100% compostable. Dog friendly and planet friendly because nature knows the difference!
