(More customer reviews)The unit just arrived today, and was very well packaged. However, it arrived with a large dent in the back. My husband was able to pound it out.
Other than the dent, which may have happen in transit, although I cannot figure out how, we are very pleased with this item. It has a an odor filter (have not used it long enough to see how that works) and a wide entry space, unlike the round container we used to have. You can only open this with the foot pedal, which we like. Also, when it closes, it is totally silent.
It looks attractive, and is a nice addition to our kitchen.
It seems well worth the price.
PS Three weeks after delivery, my husband and I are very pleased with this receptacle. It makes good on all its promises. We maintain our five-star rating!
