(More customer reviews)The best part about this BAG-It kit is the little ring thing that fits inside the receptacle. It's pictured in black here, although mine is a clear plexi-glass type material. I don't know if you can see in the photo, but it's flat and maybe half an inch wide and sits in the little indentation in the top of receptacles. You just take it out, put a plastic bag through the middle and up over the ring and set it into the top of the plastic receptacle.I use old plastic grocery bags and they work fine. When the bag is full, just lift the bag and ring out, toss the bag and put in a new one. You never have to replace those flimsy receptacles again!
The cover thing replaces the flimsy plastic receptacle covers. I put mine under the lid because it looks better that way. The two little white plastic covers, cover the holes so it's one solid piece on the lid.
I've been using this for about a week and it works great. Finally a way around replacing the costly receptacles that will pay for itself in about a month. And it's a good way to recycle plastic grocery bags. Two thumbs up for this handy solution.

(More customer reviews)I definitely splurged for this item..I am very happy with the quality and the design of this product. The lid is designed so when you release your foot off the pedal it slowly and silently closes (no slamming lid while baby is going back to sleep.) there is also a metal liner inside. I use this with the planet wise washable cloth liners. this allows me to simply remove the cloth liner and dump the whole thing in the washer without having to touch any of the soiled items. it is smaller than i expected, but this is perfect as it fills in perfect time to do a wash. I chose metal for my hamper as it is non porous as plastic is and does not soak op the odors from the diapers.. In the future this can also be used as a trash can in any other room. it is so well made, I am sure we will have it for years to come.
