My old fashioned, inept dish rack took up too much counter top space and collected unsightly water due to inept draining. I bought a Simple Human trash can last year and was very happy with it so I decided to take the chance. The footprint on this dish rack is small, but not too small. Enough room for several glasses, a few pots, and some silverware or 6-8 large dinner plates. The coolest thing about it though is that the people at Simple Human improved upon the design. They added a swivel spout on the bottom that allows you to direct the water drainage in whichever direction you like. No more water sitting in the bottom of the drain pan growing smelly. It works whether you have an under mount sink or top mount. The dish rack is sturdy and made of durable higher quality materials--not everyday cheap plastic. It also happens to be cute and attractive.
