They're the perfect size, easy to find bags to fit in them, big enough that they don't have to be emptied throughout the day... the only thing I didn't realize is that they're VERY shiny - but doesn't bother us at all.

The lid keeps odors from escaping very far and the can itself is the perfect size for reusing plastic grocery bags as trash bags. I could imagine using this for other areas of the house as well, particularly the bathroom. It might be a little too small for an office depending on how high-traffic the room is. For my purposes, it has performed very well for over a year and has exceeded my expectations. I recommend it to anyone looking for a small, attractive waste can.
