(More customer reviews)I used to have literally hundreds of plastic grocery bags in my kitchen, stuffed into an even bigger grocery bag. (I use about a bag a day to collect and dispose of the waste in my cats' litter box.) I have been upgrading my kitchen and apartment, and decided I needed a more streamlined, attractive way to deal with the bags.
I was optimistic about this device, but it's not a perfect solution. I didn't count the bags I put in, but it does seem to hold a lot. However, I haven't yet determined the best way to insert the bags so that when I pull one out of the dispenser, I don't end up with several at a time. Also, taking out a bag is not always simple -- sometimes a bag comes out easily, other times I really have to wrestle with it.
In addition, my bag holder arrived partially disassembled. There are three main parts to the holder -- the black plastic bottom, the black plastic top piece, and the rounded stainless steel sides. One of the tabs that ensured that the black top was securely installed was not popped in -- consequently, the steel sides were not held in place by the top, so sharp edges were exposed. And they are sharp!
Fortunately, I was able to unscrew the black top, reinstall it so all the tabs were in place, and squeeze the metal sides back into place so the edges were covered. However, remedying this was a rather unpleasant experience, although I am pleased that it was remedy-able at all!
Overall, a good solution, but not a great one.

(More customer reviews)I have a tiny kitchen and a big round stainless trashcan. Pretty, and the step-to-open was nice, but it generally sucked getting bags out of that thing and was so big.
The new one fits nicely in a cramped sink space, comfortably holds grocery bags or larger kitchen bags. Diggit.

(More customer reviews)I actually had to really search to find the right type of garbage can eventually getting this one shipped to me. This garbage can (it's that grey, hard, plastic type) is great. It's big, it's lid is attached which is very important, it rolls very well, and is sturdy. The only problem with the garbage can is the top of the container is square so when the bag goes in you need to stretch it carefully to fit without ripping one edge (which doesn't really hurt it but...). I need to go to Sam's for the bags because the supermarket's largest bags are still not big enough (needs 55 gllon) to fit the can. So the sole problem is really a flaw. Don't sacrifice the size, the attached lid, or wheels for the need to take the time stretch the bag. If you can get the same exact can with a round lid you should, otherwise buy this can.

The first thing I did not like on it was the wheels were too small and being plastic made them not very smooth to roll down the driveway. The first day I used it, it tipped over several times as I was trying to place leaves in it. Then within hrs. one of the 4 plastic insert pieces that holds the lid in broke. I was rather dissappointed to say the least.
