(More customer reviews)Hi. After reading all the comments about little or no soap being dispensed, I thought the following info might help. In the spot where the soap dispenses, there is a very small plug which controls the flow which you need to gently pull out and release (not break off) in order to break the vacuum seal. This information is not included in the regular instructions, but rather is written on a small 2-inch square piece of paper in the box. I was getting very frustrated because I had "primed" the soap dispenser at least 30 times and nothing had come out. I noticed the small plug, and while looking through the box again found the small piece of paper with the additional instruction. After that, it worked great! I use a generic version of Soft Soap, and we find the lowest setting dispenses more than enough soap.

(More customer reviews)We used to just dump our compostable kitchen stuff straight into the composting crock, and it was always a horrendous mess when we would carry it out to the main compost bin to empty. Now that I've started using these bags, it's a much less unpleasant task (and we empty the crock more often now, too, because we aren't both trying to put the task off hoping the other will break down and do it instead! :D )
A couple of caveats: the bags ARE, as advertised, biodegradable, so if you leave them in the crock full of wet kitchen scraps for too long, they will start to seep liquid out into the crock. It's more like osmosis - they don't really seem to develop holes at this point, but they kind of ooze liquid through a little bit. I'd say five days is the maximum time you should leave them in there. If you forget and they do start to seep, however, the task of taking the bag out to the compost bin and then washing the crock is still much less objectionable, since the inside of the crock is only wet, not stuck full of coffee grounds and bits of eggshell and all that other stuff I used to hate having to clean out of it every time.
They are also a bit fragile. The practice of cramming in as much stuff as you can by shoving down on top of the contents is just not a good idea here - the bags can be easily torn by hard materials such as banana stems, eggshells, grape stems and the like.
So basically the upshot of the whole thing is: don't shove too much into the compost crock, remove the bags often, and you will find that these bags make your counter-top compost collecting a much more pleasant task.

(More customer reviews)This is an attractive and affordable chrome toilet brush with two problems: 1) the canister lid, which is attached to the brush handle, hits against the toilet bowl rim as you are cleaning because the handle is too short; 2) it's nice that the brush is detachable so you can replace it later, but it detaches from the handle while you are cleaning, which is not so nice. You have to fish it out of the toilet and screw it back on.
This is a small-ish brush that looks nice sitting next to the toilet, but if you are going to be cleaning your toilet with it, get a better one. The Oxo brush is not as pretty but it works a lot better.

We saw other Rev-A-Shelf products at Home Depot with different configurations, but they were all plastic, and with limited space below the sink none of them were as efficient as we would have liked. We had just spent several months remodeling our house and had a brand new kitchen. Our garbage container was already under the sink, but we thought it would be nice to have a container for recyclables out of sight rather than stacking cans and bottles on the counter until we got around to taking them out to the garage.
So rather than buying something that was close to what we wanted, I did a google search and found the full product lineup here on amazon. Because the containers are front to back, it takes up little of the under sink area, a very efficient use of space. We use the larger container in the back for garbage, and the smaller container in the front for recyclables. The front container fills up faster and does need to be taken out frequently, but you just pull the unit out, and each container lifts out separately with its own handle, so that's not a problem.
The black and stainless steel looks great, and fits perfectly with our new kitchen with SS appliances and black granite countertops - much nicer and more durable than plastic.
