(More customer reviews)I purchased this trashcan straight from simplehuman with free shipping. I've owned it for less than a year and the lid broke at the hinge. It can snap back on, but with a few more uses and it comes right off. The product has a 5 yr warranty, but you must keep proof of dated purchased for product replacement. I've contact SH and they have been very kind.
