(More customer reviews)I've had one of these in daily use for almost eight years. Touch the tab on the front of the wastebasket and the lid pops open. Sadly the spring hinge on one side of the lid finally broke after all this time so I'm off to buy another one. I've been very satisfied with this product.

What are the things that annoy you about your current trash can? If it's a step can you have to hold the pedal down with your foot which can be awkward if you're reaching back and forth at the same time to clear a counter. And no matter what kind of can you have, the liner problem can certainly be very frustrating, as soon as you dump trash in the entire liner collapses and gets dirty. And the liner bag hanging over the can isn't all that attractive either.
