Combination outdoor ashtray and patio table. It works great on the back porch, in the garden, by the pool, tailgating, or just about anywhere you want cigarette butts cleaned up.This ash and butt disposal stands about 30" tall. The table fits over the post and measures 15" wide. Makes a great table for that bistro look. Just add a couple of folding chairs.Brand New.This is one great little outdoor ashtray. It is made of extemely tough plastic which you would think would melt with hot cig butts going in. But no! It has a METAL bucket in the bottom to catch the butts. It doesn't need sand either as this design snuffs the butt out by restricting air to it.You can add sand to the unit to help stabilize it in windy areas and to keep the table top more steady.Really cleans up the smoking area. No more cigarette butts all over the ground! Very easy to clean. Just empty metal pail and drop back into bottom.Very easy to assemble, no screws or other hardware and certainly no tools needed. It just snaps together.It also has small holes at the bottom for hold downs or whatever type you prefer to keep it in one place.Great around a pool, entrances to the office, or a picnic area. The wind can't blow the ashes away and rain won't affect it either. Attractive white plastic.

(More customer reviews)This ashtray works pretty good. It snuffs lit cigs when they are put into the hole at the top. I suppose there just isnt enough air in the unit to keep them burning. Plus I like the height of the thing. The other astrays Ive seen make you bend over to use them. It is also very easy to take apart and put back together. It snaps. No screws, or threads at all. It also has a small galvanized pail that holds all the old butts. Just grab the handle and dump in the trash. Clean and easy.
It also sheds water pretty good. I had to add sand to the inside to keep wind from moving it though. It was too light. Other than that we like it a lot as it keeps the area outside the door clean. Highly recommended.

(More customer reviews)I bought a number of these a few years ago. We use the money raised to support a non-profit program for girls. We have placed several of them at our own properties and a couple out at local businesses. Here's what I like about them: (1) they hold up well, (2) with a little practice cans can be smushed so that they slide through the slot into the container without anyone having to touch the can, (3) because the container can only be accessed through the slot without removing the top we don't get all the extra garbage that gets thrown in many recycling containers, (4) because the can gets laid on it's side to be crushed, we don't get the half full cans of soda that get thrown in many recycling containers, (5) because of 3 and 4, the containers don't tend to attract bees as do other containers and (6)as was noted in the general write-up, the container can be lined and with the cans flattened the aluminum can be transported to the recycler without messing up your car. An additional benefit is that kids (and many grownups) enjoy using the crusher which decreases the number of cans that the organizers have to crush.

This thing is made of super tough plastic for long life. It is a pleasant light gray color. It will never rust!This is a great recycler for cafeterias, game rooms, company picnics, bars, tail gators, or just anywhere that aluminum cans build up. Not only does it keep housekeeping to a minimum but it also makes it easy to transport a lot of cans since they are flat. Just install a trash bag and you don't even have to handle nasty cans. Plus you can sell the cans and pay for the recycler.For instance. Cans are selling for about 50 cents a pound right now. That works out to about 6.65 per bag of crushed aluminum cans. The unit will pay for itself in 9 bags of cans and makes a wonderful demonstration for school children concerning recycling. Not only are you doing the right thing for humanity but RECYCLING PAYS BACK CASH and you can prove it easily.Makes a great fund raising tool also for any kind of event as you can easily tabulate the donations.
