(More customer reviews)Took about 2 hours to assemble. Lots of pieces and the instructions were mostly pictures. Some experience needed to assemble. Once done, very nice piece of kitchen furniture. Goes together solid. Works like a charm. Was able to use a rubbermaid 13 gal container with just a little trimmed off the sides of its top lip. Great way to conceal the trash. The paper towell holder is worthless. We may put a regular towell holder in its place. Butcher block is the real thing.

It has made us recycle more but it is a real pain to get a bag out of this container to dispose of. Yes, I know you're just suppose to throw it all away & get a new one each time but it's to expensive. Next time I am just going to purchase another regular trash container & not bother with these.

(More customer reviews)We've been using these for years. First the good. These bags work great in our SimpleHuman trash can, and I've had no problems with them breaking. They're quite strong in fact and they're a good value for the price. On the negative side, the "kirkland" logo printed on the drawstring rubs off on my hands EVERY DAMN TIME I take the garbage out. Very annoying. If they would just use different ink, or print the logo somewhere else, these would be waste disposal perfection.
Update - 6/23/2010 - Two of the three boxes of this purchased recently have not had the logo on the drawstring. Hopefully this unnecessary "feature" is being phased out.

Better yet, I did NOT have to purchase four of them (unfortunately, Steritite wastebaskets are usually only sold in packages of four...which ends up costing considerably more money overall! So this ONE was well-worth the somewhat higher shipping cost. Another plus is this wastebasket's touch-top latch button, which is very well constructed (unlike the Rubbermaid product's one), and looks like it will last for quite some time. It manages to keep my foxhounds out of the trash (which is a feat onto itself!), so I am super-pleased with this wastebasket!

Standard tall kitchen bags almost fit the size Q can, but need to be stretched just short of ripping, and once in a while... Awwww...YUCK!
It just takes one bag to rip open and spill coffee grounds and chicken bones as you pull it out of the can to make the minor extra cost of the custom-fit bags to be worth fifty times the price. If you have the can, you absolutely need these bags.

The bag goes all the way to the bottom of the can, so you can pack the can with weighty items without worrying about the bag coming loose. These liners are thick and durable, so not likely to get punctured and leak. The drawstring is a convenient feature. So even though there are cheaper alternatives I keep buying these bags: they are just so convenient. I deduct one star for the price.

(More customer reviews)These liners are for a small trash can. They are sturdy and have not leaked or broken so far. Drawstring is nice. The manufacturer has not given the weight capacity but I have held up to 8 lbs without any problems. The bags can be used for a variety of other purposes, e.g. packing shoes while traveling, holding dirty laundry while traveling etc. etc.
Only downside is the cost. At almost twelve cents a bag, they are expensive and you can find a lot cheaper trash liners on Amazon or other places, most of them without drawstring though.
