(More customer reviews)I've seen cheaper models but they've been cheaper quality, too. Nice system - plenty of room for a week's worth of recycling material, and a perfect size for a 13 gallon trash bag. Even fully extended with both containers full, the pullout system doesn't seem fazed at all. We were going to get the optional hardware to mount the cabinet door to the unit but found a majority of the time it's just as handy to simply open the cupboard door and toss things in without even pulling the unit out - plenty of room above the containers to get things into the containers.

(More customer reviews)These bags fit my garbage cans great but they are thin! Not tough as you would expect with a company who prides themselves on being tough. Without fail, every time I put something in the bag, it rips. So I am constantly having to stick the ripped back into a new bag to double bag everything.
These seem more like liners than garbage bags. I thought they might be worth a try, but it didn't live up to it's name.....at all.

The only downside for me was that the wire support that came with it hit my plumbing under the sink so I couldn't use it. I had to build a custom platform for the garbage can and then screw it into the slide, but besides that it's great!

(More customer reviews)The double filters work great with the endurance Compost Pail. There are no odors from our kitchen scraps which is key. The only negative is that although I don't smell anything from the pail, the fruit flies do. The pail still attracts fruit flies in the summer months. I don't know that they can actually get in past the filters but they try. And I don't know if there is a way around this issue.

(More customer reviews)I had been using ice-melt during the winter and using the white plastic bucket that the salt came in as the storage canister duing use. The problem with that approach is that the bucket lid is difficult to pry off while wearing gloves and it's 10 degrees outside. I purchased this Eagle waste can after seeing them being used for ice-melt where I work. They use a lot more salt there than I use at home, but I appreciated the ease of the foot-operated opener to access the salt. The bucket arrived in great condition and the supplied warning sticker for "oily rags" was easy to remove for my use. I discovered that the 5 gallon bucket my ice-melt comes in can fit (with the snap-on lid removed) entirely inside this 10 gallon waste can, with the snap on lid set to the side inside the waste can for later use. This worked out even better than atticipated. At the end of the season, I then removed ice-melt bucket from the waste can and snapped the lid back on to keep moisture from the air from being absorbed by the salt.
